HONG KONG -- Hongkong Post will issue a stamp sheetlet and other philatelic products for celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on July 1, the city's government announced on Wednesday.
According to the Information Services Department of the HKSAR government, the sheetlet features a motif of Hong Kong's floral emblem, the bauhinia. Iconic images on the five petals highlight Hong Kong's scenes of prosperity and core values, and wavy coloured ribbons in the background reflect the city's vibrancy and versatility.
The official first day cover is now on sale. The stamp sheetlet and presentation pack will be available from July 1. The serviced first day cover affixed with a stamp sheetlet and date-stamped with the special postmark will be available only on July 1.
